Employment Law Update Seminars - March 2015

As ever there is a lot to tell you about from the last six months whether because of new Government legislation or cases that have changed the law.

Scunthorpe (Forest Pines) - Monday - 9th March 2015 - 5:30pm to 6:30pm - FREE to attend
Hull (Gosschalks offices) -  Wednesday - 11th March 2015 - 5:30pm to 6:30pm - FREE to attend

Areas we cover in this seminar include: Holiday pay and whether you take into account overtime was big news before Christmas and we will of course be looking at the recent well-publicised Bear Scotland v Fulton case, the subsequent developments, and providing a comprehensive summary on how the law now stands and what you need to do. There are also changes on shared parental leave as well as recent cases on obesity as a disability, disciplinaries involving criminal acts and plenty more.   And of course social media features yet again with news of a landmark case on abusive tweets.

Event format

We will be explaining all of the recent changes to Employment Law in terms of what they mean for you in a practical, day-to-day sense. We will of course provide you with a full handout to take away and you are more than welcome to join us before and/or afterwards for a drink. We would be delighted to see you.

Who should attend?

The topics are aimed towards decision makers but anyone with an interest in HR within your organisation would benefit from attending.
