Chris was born and brought up in the Dearne Valley, South Yorkshire, and studied Law at Leeds University. Before joining Gosschalks in 2003, he worked for Masons Solicitors (now Pinsent Masons) in Leeds.
Chris specialises in non-contentious construction law, where he is able to offer clients the benefit of over 10 years experience dealing with bespoke contracts as well as many of the standard forms of contract including JCT, NEC3 and FIDIC.
An excellent communicator who is able to ensure his clients understand even the most complicated issues fully, Chris receives regular praise from clients for his excellent commercial advice and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Chris plays trombone with The Doncaster Jazz Orchestra and sings in a Rat Pack-style band, The Budo Big Band. He also has a passion for portrait and landscape photography and Rotherham United.Return to the people page »
