Tom was born and raised in Hull up until the age of 18 when he left to study Law at the University of Liverpool. After finishing his degree, Tom travelled and worked in the finance sector in Australia for one year. He also travelled across South America before moving back to Hull.
Tom studied the part-time LPC course at the College of Law in York while working full time with the Clinical Negligence team at Rapid Solicitors. He was offered a training contract with Gosschalks in September 2013, working as a paralegal in the Litigation department in April 2014 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2016. Tom deals mainly with landlord and tenant matters, as well as commercial disputes.
“Litigation is often a very tense and tiring process for all parties involved. But it’s made worthwhile when a client acknowledges the time and effort that goes into making their involvement as simple and hassle-free as possible.”
Tom is known for his thorough, methodical approach to his work, and the honest, practical advice he gives to his clients.
“The legal profession particularly appealed to me as it is a dynamic industry that constantly offers new challenges. I thrive on the stimulating, intellectual demands that come from our ever changing legal system, and the demands of the profession as a whole.”
