Chris joined the firm in March 2003. He trained at national firm Masons Solicitors (now Pinsent Masons) in the areas of Intellectual Property / Information Technology, Construction and Company / Commercial before qualifying in their Energy department in September 2002.
Chris currently specialises in commercial property work and construction law. He deals mainly with property development and strategic land assembly including drafting bespoke agreements, section 106 agreements / unilateral undertakings, promoter's agreements, option agreements and general transactional work.
On the construction side of things he advises on and draft deeds of appointment, collateral warranties, building contracts, performance bonds, novation agreements etc.
In conjunction with Matthew Fletcher, Chris presents at regular construction seminars hosted by Gosschalks.
