Prior to joining Gosschalks in 1989 Roy had worked in London and Hong Kong specialising in a wide variety of complex Civil Litigation disputes.  

Roy became a partner with the firm in 1995 and he currently specialises in Civil Litigation with a particular interest in Personal Injury and Insurance related disputes.  Throughout his career Roy has regularly appeared before the Appellate Courts of both England and Hong Kong as well as innumerable visits to the Commercial, High and County Courts throughout the country.

Roy is an accredited Mediator, a Member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel and is also a member of Hull Law Society Council.
