Link to Department: NHS Continuing Healthcare and Complex Care
Stephanie specialises in health and social care matters, drawing on extensive experience across healthcare, law and advocacy to support individuals and families with complex care and funding issues.
Before joining Gosschalks, Stephanie worked in a range of care and hospital-based roles, including as a discharge coordinator, where she developed a strong understanding of patient care, hospital discharge planning and the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals and their families.
She later combined her healthcare background with legal training and specialist advocacy experience, spending ten years supporting clients across the country with NHS Continuing Healthcare funding, appeals, Section 117 Aftercare, social care funding, care placements, mental capacity issues and safeguarding concerns.
Stephanie is known for her determination, empathy and unwavering commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients. She understands how difficult and overwhelming health and social care decisions can be, and is committed to helping clients secure the care, support and funding they are entitled to.
"Many of the difficulties I encounter could have been avoided if advice had been sought sooner. Whether it involves NHS Continuing Healthcare, hospital discharge arrangements, social care funding, Section 117 Aftercare or planning for future care needs, obtaining the right advice at the right time can make an enormous difference. My passion has always been ensuring that vulnerable individuals have a voice and receive the care, support and funding they deserve."
