Abigail specialises in construction matters. She acts for a wide range of clients from large construction companies and developers to smaller subcontractors, professional consultants and financiers. She is known for her commercially minded and pragmatic approach.
She has extensive experience in reviewing, negotiating and drafting the full suites of construction documents including building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, parent company guarantees and performance bonds. Abigail regularly works with all the standard forms of contract including JCT and NEC.
Abigail also deals with resolving a broad range of construction disputes via adjudication, mediation and the Technology & Construction Court.
She regularly provides training seminars to clients and professional associations (including Constructing Excellence and the Humber Training Group) on a variety of construction-related topics.

Outside of work Abigail is a keen runner having taken part in the 2017 London Marathon to raise funds for Hull and East Yorkshire Mind and enjoys taking part in half marathons. She is also a supporter of the England Rugby (union) Team.
