COMMERCIAL LITIGATION – HULL (NQ-2PQE and 3yrsPQE+)

Due to continued sustainable growth we’re looking to recruit new lawyers to join our Litigation team which is one of the largest and most successful of its kind in the region and is recognised as a leader in Commercial Litigation, Property Litigation, Construction and Insolvency.

The core experience we are looking for is that of conducting litigation for commercial clients, be that mainstream commercial disputes or property litigation. The successful candidates will be quickly running their own matters at an appropriate level, and also assisting partners on more complex cases. We invest heavily in professional development through training and supervision and so candidates at the earlier stages of their career can be sure they’ll be nurtured and invested in to help them to grow in confidence and capability.

We encourage all of our fee earners to look to develop their own networks, relationships and sources of work, so there will be plenty of support for individual initiatives and also inclusion in the firm’s activities. In due course if a candidate wants to follow a niche area then that will be up for consideration on its merits but the firm is certainly receptive to such suggestions.

Technical experience is important to us, but we also look for people with the right attitude when it comes to hard work, focus, and a commitment to client care. We are keen to find genuine individuals with a personality and an effortless way with others and a knack for creating and growing lasting relationships.

The prospects for career development are second to none. Candidates who have aspirations for partnership in the medium term will be of interest as we have a good record of promoting people internally and so it isn't a taboo subject or an aspiration which we are frightened of or wish to deter.
